Just over 41k on my '09 and they are putting a new torque converter in it. If this one goes out as fast as the first I am going with edge or something aftermarket. I had an awful vibrating rumble between 38 and 40 MPH. I tow a lot so I am not really surprised but kinda sad with only 41k.

It is sort of covered. In 09 they had the lifetime warranty which is great if purchased new I bought it used. It then has a 3 year 36k warranty since bought it with about 28k on it I purchased an aftermarket warranty from United Car Care or something like that. Basically it covers everything bumper to bumper with a $250 deductible on first repair then $25 for each repair after. So I will be paying $250. I don't know how much it would have been cash yet. I did tell him I want a detailed receipt in case they turn it into a recall down the road. I have read many others having this issue on 4th gen.

Thats odd to go out that quickly. An edge 2600 would do good make sure you tell Andre you tow alot though.
