Just got a 2003 Ram 2500..the VP44 in my 2001 ram 2500 (all 7 of them) haveme frustrated...anyhow..the 2003 tows like a ford LTD wagon. Trailers lightly loaded or empty are pushing the truck all over the road. Maybe it is just that the 2001 towed so well. the suspension is only 3 leafs in the rear of the 2003 the 2001 is built like a tank. Yes the 2003 is really great on the road and rides like a car but I wanted a truck... Anyone else find the 3rd generation trucks to be poor tow vehicles? By the way both trucks are diesels.
