The 2500's run 2 different tire pressures F & R, when rotating tires will the truck automatically recognize that the fronts are now on the rear and pressures adjusted accordingly, or is it gonna throw a red flag? If this is the case do you have to have the tpms units reset, or ???

On all the dodge chrysler i have ever worked on the tpms reprgrams itself while simply driving around. Ford, gm and many others need a actual programation where you need a tool or with some gms to deflate the tires in order but anyways another reason dodge is the best... :p

On all 3 4th gens I've had so far they will automatically adjust/re-learn. One truck I had would throw the TPMS light on and go off after 2-3 miles. My current truck doesn't throw the light on but displays weird tire pressures in the EVIC and takes about 10 minutes of driving before its back to normal.

Just rotate and drive.

I wish Dodge offered 2 more settings besides towing 60F/75R, light 60F/50R. you are only allowed a 5% differential between + or-.

I rotated the tires and re-adjusted the air pressure, the truck threw the idiot light for approximately 2 miles then reset itself showing the proper pressures.
It just amazes me when technology works right.

I've been pestered by those damn sensors. Seems like the 1500s have the 2 pressures programmed into the p.c.m. that have the tow package.

Every time the temps change the go off. Makes me want to :banghead:

Just to update I put air in all 4 tires this morning and that took care of those damn sensors. I always do a visual inspection on my tires before I move the truck, but this one crept up on me. Oh well problem taken care of. :burnout:
