I recently purchased a 2015 Sport, and the steering has been getting stiff , especially when cold. I took my steering universal joint out to try find the cause of the intermittent stiff steering. Turns out the lower universal joint was seized in one direction, so I replaced it and now the steering is perfect. But I now have the traction and airbag light in and a message to service the electric brakes.
I plugged in my code reader, but it does not show anything.

Will these lights reset after a certain amount of starts, or do I need a better code reader to get them reset

Did you unhook your battery and let it sit for a few minutes..?? Sometimes you can unhook your battery and things will go back to normal. Unless you unplugged something and didnt get it plugged back in properly, i see no reason why this happened. Maybe you hit something and knocked it off under the hood while working on the truck.

Could be just coincidental (???)
