Trailer brake connector missing. 2008 1500 quad cab

The truck came equipped the 4 pin trailer connector but also has the fuses in place in the fuse box like it has the trailer brake option. I have LOOKED extensively for the blue connector near the parking brake pedal but to no avail. So my question is simple, just because it has the fuses from the factory in place does that mean it does or does not have the trailer brake connector? If yes, WHERE. If no, then why put the fuses in from the factory? I am the original owner of the truck.

I have also looked everywhere for this blue connector, factory tow package with 4 pin connector to the rear no blue connector in cab after spending a small fortune at etrailer for the Prodigy and their 7 pin harness kit UGH !

The Prodigy is a brake controller ! The ETBC7 that came with it plugs into the blue connector Mike and I are looking for and can't find, if you have a factory trailering package 4 pin or 7 pin it is agedly suppose to be there....
