didnt think of that. i didn't want to put it under the truck because of all the salt they put on the roads in the winter.

looking at buying this. where is a good spot to mount the compressor?

HornBlasters Conductor's Special 228VX Train Horn Kit

also, does anyone know warranty info? I can't find it anywhere

I put mine behind the front seat in the storage bin. just drilled a hole for the air lines and power supply in the plastic.
under the bin are access holes to under the truck so i ran the air lines through that to the front of the truck where the horns are. isnt too loud and it runs for only a couple minutes.

The only thing I'm skeptical about is the legality of it.

as in, is it legal to honk it?
no it is not legal. on the hornblasters wedsite is states for off road use only.
ive had mine for a year now, havnt had any issue with the police. of course i make sure the coast is clear. and unless you are the only car around, itd be hard to pinpoint it in my oppinion.

yeah true. I just don't know if it's worth the 500 bucks to use it once a month haha. I'm sure it will be when that time comes though haha it just doesn't seem like it now.

I had a set on my bagged s-10 and you will use them more than once a year. They are so fun.

I gave mine to my dad when I sold my s-10 to put on his bus and he never did so he is shipping them back to me. I can't wait to have train horns again. They are so so so so so fun.
