Transmission - flow direction

Dear members,

on my RAM 1500 year 2011 I should know, how is the flow direction of the tranny fluid to the cooler?
The picture shows the two lines. Upper to the cooler or vice-versa?

Radiators and coolers pull from the bottom. So look at the trans cooler find the bottom most line. That will be your return to trans.

The illustration on the picture gives information
it is the lower pipe for the return flow from the cooler

Rule of thumb is the rear most lowest line (closest to the pan) is the return line. The other upper forward line is pressure out to the coolers.

Hi, if you're looking at the transmission cooler from the front. Does the bottom tube that goes under it from left to right, get hooked up to the upper pressure line from the transmission? I upgraded my 2004 1500 4.7 from the 1/2 ton cooler to the 1 ton cooler, and put the lines back how they were connected in the first place, but the the inlet and outlet on the new cooler are reversed, so I made sure my lines were connected in the same reverse way to keep with the old configuration.
