Hi im trying to identify which transmission i have so i can change shift solenoid and filter/fluid. Not sure where to find the numbers for it. The sticker on drivers side just above pan is not legible. Idk if you need this info but its 06 ram 2500 4x4 mega cab 5.7l. Also has 15 bolt pan

Ok looked it up on oreily website. They have a 21 pin and 23 pin listed. Counted the wires going to mine and i only have 20 wires. Counted 3 times to make sure

And you have the HEMI or Cummins? If you have the HEMI you should have the 545rfe with either 21 or 23 pin

Ya its hemi. Should i assume i have the 21 pin. I can take picture of connector if it would help

Think i got it. 23 pins on the actual shift solenoid but only 20 wires going to the harness that plugs into it

Hahahah. Thanks for help. Had to take camera on phone above connector on transmission and get a photo. Kinda pita but it worked. Got solenoid installed and it actually fixed the problem. I'm very surprised by that. Thought for sure i was about to fork out alot of money for a rebuild. Again thanks buddy
