I own a 95 Ram 1500 4x4 with a 46RH transmission. After installing the newly rebuilt trans and new heavy duty torque converter, I am getting a Check Engine Light on. I'm coming up with a 3-7 code( Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid).

#1 Where is the TCC solenoid located ? Is it something I can replace or have shop do it ?

#2 I have only 2 electrical connections, one is a round 3 pin switch( neutral safety switch, and the other is located right above the NSS. It is white in color, 3 pin, elongated. What is this switch. I know it isn't the trans temp switch. I've looked at a couple schematics, but I am unable to determine what it is.

Thanks for any input.

TCC is located on the back lh side of the valve body. I'm not suree what it looks like since you have a 46RH instead of a 46RE like later trucks.

Sorry to say this, but should have replaced during the rebuld. They tend to gum up. Now if it was, there may be other issues.
