with the Chassis Number give me an idea on what gearbox is fitted assuming it has not been changed, having looked at a few decoding websites I'm not getting anything useful! I assume from the sticker inside the hood its a 4 speed with overdrive or a 3 speed with overdrive. but im not sure on the model.

make sure the hood wasn't changed. double check with the vin# build sheet from inside the driver door

Should be either a 44re or 46re. I believe 46re was the standard
