I started to have problems with my 94 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9l stalling/flooding/bad idle. I started with a basic tune up (plugs/oil change/air filter) and the plugs alone helped with the idle. But the truck still idled a little rough and would stall when i stepped on the accelerator. Next I replaced the fuel injectors and rail. Still acting the same. I discovered how to read the PCM codes with the key start method. Got codes: 12, 14, 21, 23, 24, 55.
So I went to the o2 sensor next. Replaced the o2 sensor last night and cleared the PCM. the truck seemed to bee idling a lot better than it has this Checked the codes again this morning and all i got was: 12,55. Ok so it seemed like the problem was "solved" according to the codes. But yet the truck still stalls out when I step on the accelerator. It is idling the best it has this whole experience but she is still dyeing. I have put a little over $200 into it with all that i have done so far. Does anyone think I should try to replace the MAP sensor and the TPS before I throw in the towel? Any ideas or advice is more than welcome. Please help
