I think wrapping the truck in a cover that traps heat and salty moisture would be worse than leaving it to sit outside. Use sun shields on the windscreen, keep the paint clean, and treat it with a UV-resistant coating. A carport is your best option, but you said you can't have that, HOA?Guess the limited consensus is negative on truck covers. However, here in the NE corner of Florida , the sun beats down on and cooks everything. Temps been running 100*-110* most days. Wanted to offer some protection to my truck, where and how i could. Thanks anyway……
Yes, I bought a truck cover off Amazon. It works well for me. Truck is not covered all the time, maybe 50% and during hurricane season when a storm is eminent. The cover keeps the truck interior cool and protects the vehicle from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. I have noticed some paint scuffing at contact point on the fenders but so far they polish out without issue. It is a pain to remove and replace the cover - it’s really a two person job. Other than those issues, I like it and would recommend a cover for those hot, sunny areas of the country.I'm curious what you ended up doing, did you purchase a cover? I'm in a similar situation living in Southern California, gets very hot in the summer, can be 100+ and in the direct sun could be 120 easy. I just installed an RSI EVO Sport Cap too. Thanks!

Yep, that stuff happens. We live on a small lake and Couple of years ago our neighbor, down the road, was invaded by a gator who followed their cat into the house. Scared the **** out of them.Florida has Heat & Hurricanes
You can use a 2 layer cover on it, smooth as silk against the truck & something heavier for cats & crocks.
Nothing will protect the truck from flying mobile homes
you can have that area
