Truck waking up.

Does anyone ever notice strange noises when approaching the truck. I swear I have gremlins living in this thing. It’s like it wakes up does something.

do you have keyless entry with push button start? If so I'm guessing that happens once it receives a signal from the key

If you have a higher end model the truck is starting getting things ready, suspension, fuel pump, might hear the throttle body clicking around and so on.

Mine has then occasional loud, whine coming from under the driver side back seat when I turn it off. People on here have suggested it’s everything turning off but I’m still going to ask them to check.

My '17 Longhorn has air suspension. Sometimes I can hear what sounds like the truck lowering to entry height, but I haven't been able to see it move. Other times, the door locks will "lock" even though they're already locked. Every once in a while, the driver's door will unlock if I just walk up to the truck and touch the hood or fender. It's strange, but not enough to trigger "Twilight Zone" music in my head.
