Hi,
I want to unplug the Air Dam to see if it clears the Active Grille Shutters U11E9 code. Problem is that after unplugging the Air Dam and clearing the codes I also lose the Rear Camera and Radio Stations. If I plug Air Dam back in the Camera and Stations return.
Any idea how to unplug the Air Dam without the camera and radio problems.
2019 Ram 1500 Laramie
Thanks

Resolved. Battery should not be unplugged (negative disconnected) when disconnecting air dam. Not sure why. Works fine now.

If you could figure out how to deactivate the rear camera all by itself, I'd buy you a steak. Thing is a PITA, activating the screen even when the screen is powered off. Irritates me when it comes on at night when I'm trying to use my mirrors. I finally gave up and just put a piece of electrical tape over the lens on the tailgate. The screen still comes on, but it's black now.

First of all, is your Ram a 4th Generation model, ( Classic )
or a 5th Generation, New Body Style ?

2nd, were you in an accident or were you working on the Ram forward of the radiator ?
