I am looking to upgrade the OEM setup in my 2017 RAM 1500 Quad-Cab. I have one installer telling me that I should go to use the Kenwood XR600-6DSP, however many other sites, plus talking to Kenwood say this will not work. I already have the speakers, front will use Kicker 43CSS654 6-1/2" Component System and rear will have Kicker 43CSC654 6-1/2" 2-way Speakers. They are rated to handle 100 watts max.

Now what I need help with is what would be a good amp. I do not think though I really need anything with DSP as I am told the signal is already pretty flat in the OEM setup. I would also like to add a sub, probably the JL Audio Stealthbox. So What are peoples thought to powering this? Is a single multi setup amp enough or one for the fronts/rear and one for the Sub?

Also does anyone have a link or know what the OEM radio puts out? Is this a true 6 speaker system or is the front channels split to drive the speakers.

Thanks up front for any guidence!

Kevin
