I am starting to plan what lift. I have a ‘18 Express QC, V6, 3.55 gears, 4x4. I would like to be able to tow. Looking at travel trailers sometime down the road. May do light off-roading, but nothing crazy.

I am thinking 35s. Probably go with Ridge Grapplers on stock rims.

I do not want to trim anything. What are my options?

You may be underpowered for towing and a lift with bigger tires. How big of a trailer are you looking at towing?

I have same gears, and the Hemi on 35's, and every day I kick myself in the ass for not getting the 3.92's when I ordered ... Any way, I've been very happy with my Zone 4"F/3"R with Bils set at 1.4 ... Fits in my 7' garage door, and most parking decks ... With the 5" drop hitch I've pulled a number of different trailers with no problemse6c3c2950695af9a81f889c8f9de5024.jpg

Not really sure. Just a small camper really. Nothing to big.

Get ready to literally watch your gas gauge move as you tow. Honestly on a practical stand point you’ll have a choice to make. Cool looking truck. Or “normal” truck and a camper. I had a 2016 SLT with V6 and it’s ok until you load it. Wether it’s a hill, towing etc... my 2017 with a hemi is pretty much the same MPG.

you should go CST with a 6cyl. that is the kit I have. I am finally installing it next week but nothing but good things have been said about them.

Could you use the paddle Shifter, and just never use 6,7,8th gear?

I know that's not the ideal solution, but it won't cost anything.

What is CST?

I have a friend with 35x12.50s on his v6. Honestly its not terrible with the 8 speed. He has 3.21 and no issues towing his car trailer around with a sxs on it. Ideal no, but it still does the job with the hills around here in PA

The 8 speed will be more forgiven in the 1st 3 gears :), but towing will suck with the V6 and 35's, you really should think about 4.56's if you're seriousy considering towing anything with 35's, day and night difference, i have a 6 speed Hemi crew cab with 3.92's and 35's, and while ok, the 3.92 gearing is still not exactly optimal for the tire size, but the Hemi helps a lot.

I had a Jeep Wrangler unlimited highly modded, and that sucker was almost as heavy as my Truck, but had 4.56's with 35's and the V6 pentastar motor, i thought 35's felt kind of ok with 3.21's (i upgraded to 4.56's couple of months after doing 35's) until i had the Jeep regeared to 4.56s. I would't run no less than 4.56's with the V6, and trust me, gears alone make a very noticeable difference, especially when you come from 3.21's, they're worth every penny and will put a grin in your face guaranteed. Sure regearing is not cheap, but 35's are not cheap either, i don't know how expensive is to regear this trucks, but i had my Jeep regeared to 4.56's for $1k OTD, and could use the same people to do the job if i was going to step up to 37's, as my choice for that size will be 4.56's..., don't fear the gear, it applies to any vehcile application.
