Vararam cold air?

For a correct install and seal, the back rubber seal on your Vararam should sit level with the rubber seal on your fire wall. I Installed mine and instantly noticed a nice increase in HP.

Had them custom made by a local decal guy Gator.
I gave him the lid and he measured and plotted them to be a peel and fit.
Got them cut from heavy duty vinyl in matte black.

Taking my Vararam off. When I take the filter off there is dust on the plastic. That means dust is going into the engine. No thanks. Going to find something else.

The S & B cold air is the best super filtering and has the HiPerf sound it also has 2 air intake areas

I had the S&B and didn’t really like it because it’s a pain to remove if you need engine bay access. I ended up going with the Volant intake with the Powercore filter and lower scoop. At highway speeds intake air temp is about 5* or less above ambient.

I removed the felt and it did take just a little time to get the seal right but once you get it it works great

I got it installed and I like it. I don't know if it lives up to Vararam's power claims but it sounds pretty mean under full throttle.

The difference in performance is more apparent at WOT and/or at highway speeds. Not so much just driving around town.
