Truck has a zone 4/2 lift..

A 20x9 rim with a zero offset will fit a 12.5 wide tire?
A 20x10 rim needs a -12 offset to fit a 12.5?

I'm runnin a Zone 4"/3" with 20" X 9" 0 offset wheels and 35" X 12.50" Toyo Open Country ATII's . . . Plenty of clearance, No rubbing, Nice stance . . . You got no worries

How far do your tires stick out?

Perfect for me . . . This is a shot down the side with the factory 2500 flares . . . Some people really like em stickin out there, and it's just gonna pepper the side of the truck, but to each his own

when I was picking out new rims for my wrangler I used a spreadsheet so I could see how much further they would stick out vs. stock.. took a long time to find just the right offset to keep my tires tucked in as much as possible without interfering with anything... Was worth it.. tires belong under wheelwells ;-)

When you look at the top down angle does the tire tread or side wall sit flush with the flares? I just picked up a set for $150 and gunna get them paint matched... From the looks of the set you have is almost the exact look I want..

I don't mind the tires sticking out.. An inch at max though... I don't wanna have to repaint and chip fix all the time

After looking for three days... Lol.. These are the rims I want.. Only problem is the offset.. The back spacing makes me believe it will work though so Idk..

Those will tucked way under. That's almost the same offset as factory

Zone website says I need 5" of BS to run 35x12.5s.. That's over 5.. So if I'm doing the math right in my head the ST Maxx tires should stick out right at an inch.. The stock 11" wides side walls hang out a hair..

It would be close. I'd imagine they 5" or less. 5" backspace is like a 0 offset

OK, here we go ... The wheels you picked are the same as factory wheels ... You can't run 35 X 12.50's on them without spacers ... Backspacing is the distance from the back edge of the wheel to the surface that mounts to the rotor/hub ... 5-3/4 BS is factory ... 5" BS is less, and the wheel sticks out 3/4" further ... 4-1/2" BS would stick out another 1/2" more ... Offset is just another way to spec a wheel ... It's how far off center the mounting surface is from center ... Factory wheels are +19mm (same as 5-3/4" BS on a 9" wheel) ... 0" offset is same as 5" BS, and -12 is same as 4-1/2" BS and sticks out the furthest in a 9" wide wheel ... And yes, my sidewall is even with the outside edge of the top of the flare ... Hope that makes sense

Clear as mud.. I knew offset was how it sit on the centerline.. And the more negative the offset the lower the backspacing.. Because the mounting area moves closer to the hub..pushing the rim out.. The part that has had me scratching my head was the fact it calls for 5" of back spacing to fit 12.5s... and thinking the BS on stock was 5" I though to myself hey more is better... when in actuality lower is..

Trying to picture how the tire and rim will actually sit is the part were I kinda of just drool..

However.. Now I know a 0 offset with 12.5s will sit it flush with my flares and -12 will push it half an inch past..

That's a sad thing though.. Those are literally like the only rims I've seen that I liked...
