VIS racing SRT10 bumper

Has anyone have any experience with this brand. There’s literally no reviews or info with this brand. I see hood and not much info there. I have a 2006 ram 1500. Always wanted the srt bumper look. I realize this bothers some but it’s a personal choice. A cracked srt bumper goes for $1800 which is laughable and I’d rather much just stick with my stock if the VIS is just as bad as duraflex. I’m aware it’s just a shell that has to be fitted but will it go into my existing bumper or do I have to remove anything? Any info on the VIS SRT10 bumper or any aftermarket SRT10 bumper would be much appreciated. Thank you.

What kind of bumper do you have currently? The sport bumper cover will fit over the chrome/metal cover pretty easily, but I'm not so sure about the SRT-10 cover. By eyeballing at them I would think that the lower half in the center isn't tall enough to hide the chrome bumper its sitting on, so if you have a chrome bumper you might have to go on and get all the proper mounting hardware for the cover. (Whether that hardware is the same as normal sport models or is SRT-10 specific, I don't know)

The SRT bumper cover is designed to fit on the sport bumper bar. The aftermarket ones are all fiberglass and I have not ever seen a good review regarding fitment and quality.

VIS makes a quality product. I have their carbon fiber hood on my Mustang and its awesome!

Fitment is great, nearly perfect. I am also a stickler for fitment so if I say it is near perfect it is near perfect, may even be perfect to some. The finish on it is great, NO imperfections. I am actually a bit surprised on how good it is overall. I really thought I would find something to complain about and I got nothing.

I have the stock SLT bumper from 1500. I know to convert to SRT factory bumper I’d have to get sport bumper bracket to reconfigure. I’m relatively new to the dodge community considering I had chevy’s all my life. It’s disappointing that there’s not much aftermarket things for 2006-2008 rams.

That’s the one thing that concerns me. There’s literally no reviews on srt10 bumper covers. The majority are only hoods. I’m curious as to know if the VIS bumper cover will go into my existing stock SLT bumper.

I can’t speak to the srt bumper, but VIS does make quality replicas. It’s well know among the tuner crowd. I have their mugen style side skirts and rear carbon diffuser on my rsx and the fit and finish was spot on. I had the front lip too but changed it out since
