Want to have rear view camera on at will

I'm trying to figure out how to be able to turn the rear view camera on when I need to, even if I'm not in reverse. First I think I would need to know which color wire turns the camera on. I would maybe simply use a toggle switch to have it wired in the original mode and then in the modified mode. Other than that I'm lost. Does anyone know what color wires would be involved and have any suggestions?

Check the Uconnect screen, you can temporarily turn on the rear camera. You should be able to turn it on from the controls icon if I remember correctly

On my '17 UConnect screen, I have an icon on the list of buttons at the bottom of the screen. Makes it easy to turn on the camera at any speed. Especially nice when I think someone is up my @ss at a traffic light, I can see how close they actually are.
In the menus, there are settings to change what icons are displayed.

He has a 2012 truck, which I think has the old style radio so it's completely different. I had the old radio in my Challenger and I used a Lockpick to be able to activate the reverse cam anytime I needed it.
