Just curious, does this truck have Cabin filters? (Located behind glove box) I working on my neighbors jeep which has similar controls and was experiencing similar issues and I checked everything until it dawned on me about his vehicle possibly having cabin filters, which it did upon inspection. When i removed them they looked like bee hive frames. Completely clogged with dirt and debris. Once removed the air flow and change from zone to zone was massively apparent. Also it blew heat out faster because the air moved faster through the jewter core and warmed the cold system of ducts and so forth quicker. Just an FYI sometimes the solution is the easiest fix.

not sure about the cabin air filter as i havent owned the truck long enough to take a look, that is one modification i would make if it doesnt, i understand after 2016 the Rams had the air filters, dealer has had it since 11/21, they say they have tested it 2x a day and cannot reproduce the issues, getting frustrated at this point

2019 Classic purchased in Sept. Problem: Drivers side heat temperature 15-20 degrees colder than passenger side air into the cab.
1st visit to the dealership - 8 hrs, dealer confirmed there was a difference in temps, ran diags, no diagnostic codes registered. Ordered door actuator.
2nd visit to the dealership - 8 hrs, replaced door actuator, reports an improvement in temp, but acknowledged still an issue. Will order a control head assy. and schedule 3rd visit when parts arrive. I saw zero improvement.
3rd visit to the dealership - 1 wk now to disassemble the dash to replace the "control head" (granted- dropped truck off Monday nite before Thanksgiving), not a peep but I do have a loaner.

Scary that they are pulling the dash in a brand new truck. These issues never occured in all the older vehicles. If you didn't have heat it was either a bad heater core or fan.... NONE of this control head and doors and whatever other unnecessary custom craziness they need to put in the newer vehicles of today

had it for ONE day this time, and guess what??? first start today and only air blowing through my floor vents, after 13 days at the dealer they "were unable to reproduce the complaint testing 2x a day" yet one cold start for me and it happened ??....drove it right to the dealership with it still occurring and they finally acknowledged the issue....

Must be cheaper for FCA to warranty fix everything instead of building it right to start with. This way there will be thousands of vehicles that will never be fixed under warranty at FCA expense.

HVAC doors were ‘rotted out’. Replaced with set of custom doors I found online. Problem solved for now.
