Are they worth it? Spending all that money or should I just get cheaper ones.

I just installed a front and rear set from Oedro.com . I was able to get the full set for $100 and they look great. Excellent design and fit. They are available on amazon but I got a better deal from their website.

They are indestructible but retain dirt due to textured surface. In my case sand (Florida) and dry wall debris.

I purchased WeatherTech floor liners before but for my last truck I purchased Husky floor liners. I like the Husky better because they are not quite so stiff thus they conform to the floor better.

Id check your local craigslist listings - seems you can get entire sets of used ones for under $100 sometimes. Then all you might need to do is clean them.

For example there is a set available in the chicagoland area for $50. Just search ram 1500 weathertech.

I'd post the link but this site won't let me.

I did this for my wife’s Grand Cherokee back in 2015. Found fronts, rear, & cargo for $150 shipped.

I have had many sets of Weathertech's and like them. However, when I bought my 2014 new, it came with those heavy factory rubber floor mats, not carpet mats. I was pretty happy with those, and haven't bought Weathertech's for them yet.

Everyone please be aware the WeatherTeck rear mats do not fit my 2019 2500 Crew Cab. I've been going round and round with WT customer service trying to get a return authorization and credit.
Also purchased a Century Ultra Sport Cap for the 2019 2500 Crew and it doesn't fit correctly either. Century has acknowledged the fit issue but its 2 months waiting for resolution. i'm preparing to file a small claims action to recover the $2700 spent on a cap that doesn't fit or close properly.

That’s clearly the rear mat for a 2010-2018 Ram HD. Did you order the 2019 HD kit, and they’re denying that’s a pre-2019 rear mat?

I have the liners also. But the oedro brand have peaked my interest for the price
OEDRO work well and I am happy with them. However I will advise to double check the gas pedal to rim/edge contact. Supposedly they had a redesign however the ones I ordered earlier this year for my truck I found where too close to the gas pedal. I punched it hard on the highway and hung the pedal on the backside. The solution is simple, razor knife and cut back about 1/2 inch of material just by the gas pedal.
What I found was that with the mats clipped in properly that there is just enough forward play that your leftfoot on the mat can push it forward a 1/16 to 1/8 inch and it allows for it to get close enough that a hard flooring / stomping of the gas pedal can cause the pedal to become stuck behind the mat.

Other than this one issue, I have found them to be great, and being we just had our 1st good storm this year in the NE they work excellent. They allow slop and moisture to roll out over the top of the doors sill and stop the pooling of snow and stuff in the mat, or from building up and leaking down over the mat hook holes.

I am wondering same, too, i just put in the factory order for my Laramie this past Saturday.

I can't vouch for how they fit in a Ram but wife has WT floor mats in her wrangler.

I'm leaning toward buying WT again for my Ram but i am also thinking against it.

The fit in the jeep isn't exactly watertight at the edge where the door frame and the floor meet. Add to that the jeep's roof is narrower than the jeep's doorsill, and ever time the canvas is wet and we open a dorr the warter drips right into that excat freaking tiny crack between the WT mat and the door frame. In otherwordsm the drips go right UNDER the WT and onto the carpet!!!!!!!

Other than that one spot - which is as much jeep's fault for narrow roof as it is WT's fault for fit - the WT are definitely doing its job. The carpet underneath is spotless and not faded, and we don't baby the jeep either.

But i am also very disappointed in the "faded' look that WT (all plastics, really) get over time. Ours is four years old, but even at one year it was looking like faded black crap. Once you get one of these dirty, and the grit "scratches into" the surface, and you make more scratching as you brush it out with detergent when you wash it, it is destined to just look like crap.

I wish there were SOME kind of wear surface - weather tech, rugged ridge, smittybuilt, don't care which - that can be cleaned and look new again after the cleaning. You know, like after you wash your truck, it looks new again. Well after you wash these mats they look gray, not black anymore.

On the other hand, what are we going to do? NOT put in cover??? Of course we are....

I watched a YouTube video of some professional detailers and they all recommend and use any of the plastic renew sprays from Auto zone. Not armorall or anything like that but designed to renew the plastic plastic, like fender flares and such. Makes the WT mats look brand new.

Also, because they cover almost all of the carpet you don't need to really vacuum underneath when you take them out ot wash them

I just used the mats from my old truck-the ones that hold 20z of water -they dont fit the truck perfectly-but they keep the snow etc in the tray so I can dump it later. When I trade my RAM in the carpet wont be an issue!

I probably wont look for a new one until 2022-they likely wont take a trade in on a 10yr old truck-will sell privately then. By then it should have 80km or 50,ooo miles. LOL!!!!DSC00560.JPG

If you like Weather Techs, consider Rough Country floor mats. They feel stiff like Weather Techs but are quite a bit cheaper. Just got a set for my 2015 CC Sport. Fits great.

I have had to scrap vehicles because they were just done--went to the scrap yard--and the carpet and seats were like mint!!!---so just enjoy your carpet, let some of it show-and dont get **** about seat wear etc. when the vehicle is beyond repair you will wonder why they are scrapping your baby with perfect leather seats and brand new carpet!

Good point!

One thing I like are those old good running pick ups that look like they fit the owner like a good pair of blue jeans.

Imagine the original seats wearing out and replacing them with these.
