What the heck is that? I've got a new crush sleeve, what I really need now is the torque, which I'm finding 210 min, is that good for now and maybe have someone check specs later?

Now I know why it locked up, the pinion smacked into the carrier when the nut let go.

And found a couple pieces of the ends of the teeth that hit.

New wheels and tires along with the drop.
Next step is the bumper and grill.
Going to paint match both.

If you're gonna try and do some factory kind of conversion it will be a pain in the ass. Modules, wiring. Everything. It all communicates with the EPS Module with PCM and FCM components and signals.

Replaced rear bumper. Original was a rotted mess. Found that it was worse than it looked once removed. Pretty much only chrome in some spots :roflsquared:

Picked up complete bumper. Tapped it off and sprayed backside with Rustoleum bed liner. Pretty sure it won't rust from back side ever again. Now to find new bumper brackets as ones on truck are extremely thin. Just need to figure out who sells them without the rest of a body lift.

Got my rebuilt fog lights installed, slightly different colour so I might change the upper rings to match.cce02c4c00b8623bdff6452be07d2686.jpg4333b816ab6a73ef866e974fb72a68ad.jpg

Anyone know how to disable the "half powered high beams" that function as DRL? Looking to drive with just halos on when the headlight switch is in the second position. I'm in Canada

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

try using one click of the parking brake, wont engage anything but will be enough to set off the "brake" light and that will usually shut off the DRLs

what did you use on your fogs, I see some red in there on the halo?

I made a set of headlights and took a set of those fogs and put in matching Red Halos

I need yalls help. When I installed my roll pan I lost my class 4 receiver because it stuck to far out. I still have it and rather than dish out the $300+ do y'all think I could move the mounting holes back on the frame for the receiver and mount the original receiver or do y'all think it would jeopardize the integrity of the frame to much?

Nice, I gotta do mine, but it also smoked the compressor so not in a hurry. Hope you got it cheap on rock auto.

K, throwing this out there, have a new crush sleeve and pinion nut but, can't find a pinion tool to hold the flange in place while I torque it, was thinking of trying a pry bar wedged against the bottom bottom of the bed but it's sketchy, also should I go up to the 210 min ft/lb mark or still sneak up on it? I have no way to check rotational drag, and it's still in the vehicle so not even sure what the drag would be anyway, but to me it still feels loose, the flange isn't all the way back to the seal or housing, not sure if it needs to be, but also has some rotational and a bit of up and down play in it.

If you have one or can borrow one a large monkey wrench works great for holding the flange in place while torquing down the pinion nut. :favorites13:
