Installed vvme hids at work today, was a slow day!

3rd brake light in, a lot darker than i was thinking but love how it blends in.

2013 CC 4X4 3.21 8 speed.

Road trip. Any speed above 62 mph I had to hit the gear +/- to 7 because the engine noise in "8th" was terrible at 1500-1800 rpms with the 3.21 rear end and 18" magnaflow.

In "7th" @ 75 mph, rpms were 1900-2100
In "8th" @ 75 mph, rpms were 1500-1800

Mpg was about 18 (hand calculated) with Diablo hf 89 this time.

Same trip last year in the summer with no mods running with mds on was 19.8 mpg hand calculated. Winter gas sucks.

You've got a tune and you disabled MDS by using 7th how can you be sure it is the winter gas and not the mods/gears?

Dropped it off this morning to have this fixed. Got "rubbed" in a parking lot while I was in the store. I parked 5 spots past the farthest cart corral at Sam's and still got dinged.

Picked it up and looks like new under the parking lot lights. I'll take another look in the sunlight tomorrow.

Your probably right, mods, gears do contribute to the loss of 2 mpg for the trip. Most of my driving so far over the last year I have lost 2 mpg when the gas changes over....but it's a nice ride.

It's so easy to install and hide the wires, my suggestion is forget the fuse connector they sell, just hook it to a empty spot in the fuse box and it works great. I also just ordered the understudy 7 piece kit also. You can connect the inside and out easily to one control box and remote but, I'd prefer two controls for both not at the same time. 160 total for inside and out. Not a bad little project.

installed my dB Corsa cat back today wish i could post vids from my comp. No drone sounds amazing and the noise level on the freeway is almost stock. give it some skinny pedal and it sounds so dope.
