What happened to My Ram?

Hep me figure out what is going on. Last night I pulled up to a red light and we heard a really loud noise like exhaust backfiring. It sounded like an obnoxious motorcycle was inside the truck, and at one point it felt like something hit behind me or under the rear of the cab. This lasted a few seconds. I chucked this up to being a really loud ricer car and sure enough there was a ricer Acura in front of us but it wasn’t anywhere that loud.

Anyways no lights came on and the truck drove fine so I went on my way. Today my fiancé had my truck and said it sounded funny. So we left to go to dinner and with her door the truck was making a fluttering noise and it continued for a little bit that I could barley hear with radio off and windows down. Got to our location, left truck running and walked around... no noise. Turn it off and on... I get a click noise from the front passenger side every time o start up but fluttering is gone at least for now.

Cliff notes: super loud noise pulling to red light, truck runs fine, next day fluttering noise and click upon start up. No engine lights and truck runs 100% normal.

Fuel economy changed? Had a turbo mustang years ago that ran rich and would occasionally blow up in the exhaust and kind of do what you're describing. Sticky fuel injector?

After getting chance to read and listen to it this morning, I think bad header gasket or bolt, noise def going with exhaust.

Powertrain. I had both manifolds on my '13 replaced under warranty last month.

To any one interested or searching, this ended up being broken manifold bolts and it was covered under the powertrain warranty. Dropped the truck off at 9 and they had it ready at 2... smooth and great dealer experience.

Lol - that is funny. This dealer wasn't great last time I went but it seems they hired all new service advisors. The guy even managed to get me a rental car for the day, and offered a free oil change if I do a review for them.
