Any idea what this is or does?

Just picked up an 08 1500, 5.7 quad cab yesterday. Man I am loving this hemi.

Looks like antitheft device. With two keys for it. Key has to be in slot to start Truck.

It has the same color wires as a brake controller would. If its anti theft i dont think it would be on the outside of the dash.

Well, I went ahead and pulled it, and yes, it's an anti theft device that disables the ignition.

I traced the wires thru the wall and they went to the back of the fuze box, so I couldn't tell which block they were plugged into.
