^^What kind of shocks Okie? 500 eh...are you going to be wanting to put bigger tires on this after you do the lift? thats more coin.

What are your plans for this truck...all the more info you can provide about what kind of driving you normally do..what you want to do...all will help with recommendations.

This a cheaper kit coming in at your mark of 500 bux and is for 3" of lift... Dodge Suspension Lift Kit

Well since the OP has no money... by adding a 2 inch spacer he'll only need front shocks...that would be a low buck 5 inch lift with the BL. The stock ride is pretty much maintained and he can spend his cash on other things.
He won't have any stacked blocks to contend with and those tiny control arms and bushings.

For about $550 i just lifted my truck 5" so its definitly doable for cheap
$300 r/c 5" springs 4 shocks and drop pitman arm
<$100 for dom tubing to make the ca's
$40 for the bushings for the ca's
$25 top link adjustable end joints for the trackbar (repurposed the stock track bar and made a new bracket.
$40 extended shackles (after taking the buckets off the frame and flipping them)
misc hardware

Great idea...but for a bunch of us you forgot a couple things....:doh2:

3,000 bucks...cost of a decent 220v welder, gas cylinder, helmet, gloves, etc.

Cost of wiring in 220v outlet in garage...1300.00

Metal to make welding bench, 50/100 bucks

Clamps, chop saw, grinder, misc tools...500.00

Hey if your interest rate is low and your credit line deep, go for it!
