I've got a 98 Dodge Ram 2500 with the 5.9 Cummins. I've picked up a 3500 Dana 80 that i'm going to swap into it. My Question is Can I just order a driveshaft for the 3500 and it work, or am I going to need to get a Custom shaft made?

No you can get conversion ujoint.
Personally i would just leave the dana 70 in place. The 80 is a great axle but so is the dana70.
Toss some dually offset wheels on it go.
The dana 80 is i think only 3" wider than dana 70.

I converted my 02 dually to single wheels converting the 98 dually we just got to srw aswell. Just bolting 3rd gen srw wheels on it and rolling with it. Noone ever poi ts out my rear axle is 3" wider than its supposed to be.
