I have a 2013 Ram sport 1500 with no suspension mods (yet). Currently running 295/60/20 Trail Grapplers on the factory sport rim. I want to put new tires, rims, and leveling kit at the same time. I need help with the tire rim combo and offsets. I cant seem to find specific answers to what combinations will fit with no rubbing issues.

Here is what im looking for: I like the shorter stretched sidewall look with the aggressive mud tire (trail grappler or nitto mt). I want as much of a lip as I can get. I don't mind if the tires stick out 1-2 inches, but preferable no further. Im fine with either 20's or 22's.

Can anyone give me some combinations what will fit with no rubbing issues when leveled. Note: I will trim plastic if its very minor. If you can include pics please do.

Thanks guys

Im looking for something with a negative offset so I can get more of a lip on the wheel.

for example, 320/40/22 on a 22x11 -24. This is the look im going for, but I **** think there is any way that will fit without rubbing, plus it would stick out more than I want.

No way you're running 395 60 20 with no suspension mods. Guessing you meant 295 You are correct you will want negative offset to have them poke out. 305/45/22 or 325/40/22 would be close to the 33s that are stock.

yes, its a 295...that was a typo.

So with your recommendations, would either of these fit without rubbing if the truck is only leveled:

305/40/22 on a 22x12 -12 or -24
305/40/22 on a 22x10 -12 or -24

325/40/22 on a 22x12 -12 or -24
325/40/22 on a 22x10 -12 or -24

The problem with 12" wheels is that they might stick out further than I like
The problem with 10" wheels (with above listed tires) I don't think I will get the "stretched" tire look I want.

What are your thoughts

What is this "stretched" tire look you are looking for?

The issue is that you can't have everything you're looking for. You can't have the deep lip of a 12" wide wheel without having them stick out far. Likewise, a 10" wide wheel isn't going to have the lip depth you want or give you a stretched tire look but will be sticking out closer to what you want (still going to be over 2" though). So you have to give up one of the items... essentially decide what's more important to you: a deep lip, or the amount of poke.

After countless hours on this site, I see that your right and I will have to give up on.

I would like to stay with a 33 tire. 35's are a little to big for me

If I go with the 10" wheel, what offset and what tire dimensions would give me the stretched look? If possible, I would like to stay in the grappler or nitto mt style tire.

If a 10" will stick out >2", then whats another couple inches, right? What tire dimensions and offset in 12" could I use without rubbing.

What about a compromise with a 11" wheel? I know theres not many options but do you think this would fit without rubbing:

33/12.5/22 on 22x11 -24

I like the stretched look only if its on an aggressive tire like a grappler or nitto mt. Similar to the pic of brandonjansen ride, or the below photo:

Ok the red truck didn't look bad. When I searched the stretched look it came up with all import cars with the wheel waaaaaay past the sidewalks of the rubber.

So do you think a 33/12.5/22 on 22x11 -24 setup on my leveled truck would fit without rubbing?

This two guys have it and both said there is no rubbing:

https://www.customwheeloffset.com/w...super-aggressive-3-5-leveling-kit-custom-rims

https://www.customwheeloffset.com/w...aggressive-1-outside-fender-stock-custom-rims

My local custom wheel shop said not be believe the internet and they think it will rub bad and I will have to cut metal to make it fit. I don't want to spend 2k or more on something not knowing for sure if it will fit. What are your thoughts?

Ya, the import definition of stretched is far different than the red Ram you posted or my truck. Mine aren't actually stretched at all... just wide wheels.

Based on what you're looking for I'd say a 10" or 11" wide wheel with a 33x12.5 tire would be a good choice. It will give you a similar look to the red truck or mine tire wise. You could go 12" wide but they're going to look even more stretched than that plus you'll have more issues with fitment.
A 20(or 22)x10 -12 offset wheel with a 33x12.5 will stick out past the fender by approximately 2.5" total. If you have OEM flares you can take 1" off that number (as they provide 1" of coverage). You'll fit that setup on a leveling kit with no issues as well.

Awesome. Thanks for the input. I wasn't really sure what the name was for what I referred to as the "stretched" look. The 12" wheel is just slightly to wide for me. I think I'm going to give the 22x11 -24 a shot and keep my fingers crossed that if it rubs I can get away with some minor plastic trimming. If my math is right, it should only be about 1/2 wider than the 20x10 with a -12? I don't have any fender flares on now, but if the wheel set up works I might look at getting a pair to see how it looks.

A 22x11 -24 with a 33x12.5 tire should work no problem. A little plastic trimming never hurt anyone. If you do it right nobody will be able to tell you touched it.
