First I want to apologize for the question, I've searched the tire faq and I'm sure the answer is there I'm just not seeing it. I have a 2002 QC 4x4 with some pro comp wheels and stock 265/70/17 tires. These stick out beyond the Fender slightly due to the wheels the previous owner installed. Well I found a good deal on some Nitto terra grappler and I'm looking to get some new wheels to match. I don't want them to stick out at all. I'm looking at either the moto metal 951 or similar so my question is what would be the closest specs to stock so they dont stick out? From what I could tell the stock 02 wheel had something like 6" of back space? This seems really high. Help me out please.

not sure if they changed but 3rd gen is +18 offset. so if ur getting a 9 inch wide wheel go with 10-20 offset. that should not stick out. anything higher then 20 i would imagine could hit the suspension. i have 20x10 wheels on -24 they stick out like 3 inchs from fender

Mine have an offset of 10 mm and back spacing is -5mm... I think. I can never remember which way it goes. It's possible I have those reversed haha. With that setup my wheels/tires do not stick out at all. :)
