:mexsmoke: Sure kkreit01, we say that counts. Extra off road credit if the field was not mowed recently.

HookEm Hemi, is that a '64 Thunderbolt ? Is that why the bumpers are like brushed aluminum, rather than chrome steel?

Even if a Replica, I think I would have left the wide white Steelie wheels on it. But, it is hard not to spice things up with various wheels / tires. I have like 4 sets for my '03 Cobra and swap around depending on the mood, or where it is headed (Drags, Open Track, Car show or whatever).

Nice paint on the Pontoon as well.

Very nice toys everybody! :headbang:

HOLY CRAP! I just about spit Soda all over my keyboard!

I was scrolling through the pics of all the killer Jeep's and stuff on here, and was soaking in the Big Blue Monster on the previous page, when it hit me...

"LadiesMan217"

:laughing1:

That is a friggin awesome screen name! I had just been watching the first "Transformers" movie just the other day, and as the screen name ran through my head, suddenly the scene with the Cop Car Decepticon slamming the kid on the hood of the car demanding "Are you LadiesMan217!!!" hit me like a ton of bricks and I about died laughing.

Good One! Thanks for making my day! :boobs:

OK, not to be a total *****, but in the interest of keeping this thread alive, I will post some more of my own junk.

How about my Submarine Samurai, and my '03 Mustang Cobra right after the engine build.

One likes playing in mud and water, the other just likes to sit on the shore and watch.

Heck, I could post up a whole "Blooper Reel" on Samurai stuff alone, but I think I've done enough damage in this poor thread already. :angels25:

Oh yeah -- it's a real farm field - that's never maintained. I had to go over 6" ruts. It was treacherous. :) I had 20 bags of topsoil behind the rear seat. It was also the first time the self-leveling shocks had a workout.

Ii wish I could find a nice samurai like that around here

This is my Fifth one I've had over the years. Likely my last. I'll just keep tinkering with this one, since the amazing cage that I had installed would not be able to be removed without major surgery. And it really is about right where I like it.

I keep looking at side-by-sides, but I can't imagine paying $20+k for a new one of those, when there are so many Samurais left around for $2k!

We have quite a few always on Craigslist. Either bone stock, or already done up nicely with mods. Of course, there are always a hand full of total beaters as well.

Do they all just rust away up there? Here in the southwestern US (CA/AZ/UT/NV) there are still a bunch out there to be grabbed up.

Incredibly cheap, reliable and capable.

Buddy was just out from SoCal with his RZR900. I haven't really tested out the capabilities of the new Rubicon that I just got for the Wifey a few weeks ago, so why not see how they compare!

Just as we rolled out to my favorite local "playground" for some sand dune, technical crawling on slick rock and high speed sand wash blasting, a big nasty T-Storm rolled through soaking the whole place and spooking us with some too close for comfort Lightning Strikes.

But, we found time to snap a couple cool photos after it rolled on through.

VERY impressed with the Rubicon, kept up with the RZR when aired down, though obviously larger and more prone to bottoming when pushed through the whoops. Other than that, it was all good!

Nothing bent, or broken. Just a few scuffs on the bumper caps from crawling in and out of some things at extreme angles. But, that is what it was made (and purchased) for! Woot! :favorites13:

Amazed I didn't pop a tie rod end, or peel a tire off the rim, but you can really twist up these new Jeeps quite nicely! Ran and Drove home at high speeds just fine, straight as an arrow. Perfect!

Anyone can 'wheel a Rubicon, or especially a Side by Side. Why not kick it up a notch and go big. I mean, really BIG. Surplus Military 5-Ton 6-Wheel drive big!

Loud, hot, smelly and super fun! Just like my women! :roflsquared:

This beast is a whoot to play in, and never fails to get the strangest looks from people, either happy, scared or totally confused. Sometimes all of that at the same time!

Highly recommended. Put it on your "Bucket List" if you haven't had enough doing it for Uncle Sam in the Sand Box or other time and place previously. If you had, it takes you right back to that moment. Be it 20 months, 20 years or a lifetime ago.

Much more fun however, when on your own schedule, with no one yelling, or worse yet, shooting at you.

:)

Our Adventure Mobile, 2003 Trailblazer LTZ not your average mom mobile. We aren't into mudding or rock crawling, but we setup our rig for long overland adventures. Multiday offroad trips basically. Think Expo.

Depending on how the Ram works out as our Tow Rig, I think we might be setting up the Ram to match our Phase 1 abilities on the Trailblazer. Something that can support a weekend in Canyonlands/Moab and take us out to Point Sublime on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon or get up Cinnamon Pass in Colorado.

Neat, and very unique to see a Trailblazer so modded and capable (and being put to damn good use!).

Just got another copy of this squashed BFG M/T on the Rubicon. Thought it was cool , so I'll include it.
