So I'm going back and forth between selling my stock '13 sport wheels/tires (let's not turn this into a for sale thread please I'm not allowed yet ;) ) or just plasti-dipping them black.

I'm leaning towards getting rid of them so I can swap to a better tire also, something with a little more AT tread. My problem is when I get a topper as the truck sits right now I'll only have 3" of clearance in my garage so I absolutely can't change the height.

Can anyone recommend a set of black wheels that will retain ride height and tires that will do better off road? I won't be doing any real off-roading, just getting to areas to camp, rock climb.

Here's a picture of the truck, it's also getting an ARE mx topper that will sit 5.5" over the cab

I like the look of these, I don't believe they come in our bolt pattern though

I like your stock sport wheels. I'd keep them.

Its cheap tonplasti dip and comes off if you don't like it so I wold try that and see if you like it. Of you went aftermarket would you want them to be close to stock or would you want them to stick out a little more?

Wish I lived in CO. I'd tell you how awful they look and then buy them off of you:)

With the chrome cap having to be removed that may be reasonable. I took in my whole truck and got them done for a total of $360. But that was on aluminum wheels that didn't need any special prep and getting a discount by knowing a guy. So it may be reasonable.
