Hey guys im trying to sell a 4.7Liter that is out of a 2002 dodge ram 1500 2wd. I do not have the truck any longer so i do not have the vin alot of ppl that are interested ask how many teeth it has, or something like that? I just know what its out of do you guys know what versions are used in the rams/dakotas/durangos?

Chrysler uses the 4.7L Magnum V8 engines, however there is a high output and a regular magnum. How to tell the difference, I am not entirely sure, however if you look them up online I'm sure you can find the research you need.

so I'm assuming that you have the regular then, I don't know exactly what the guy was talking about "teeth"? but I hope giving the names of the engine can help you out!

ok thank you guys yeah idk they ask me if the crank has 16 tooth or 32 tooth? i think? lol i just told them what its out of

Im not 100% sure but dont think the H/O 4.7s came in the rams, just the Jeeps but like I said could be wrong.
