Why does Laramie Sport Appearance force eTorque?

It's a pretty seemingly arbitrary combo restriction. You can't select a Laramie 4X4 in any 6.4 bed length and get the Sport package without the site forcing one of the eTorque engines. It forces the V6 first but you can then select the HEMI eTorque and it stays.

Anyone have any ideas why that might be?

Not a clue and I’m sure the ones who designed the site as such don’t have a clue either.
