I thought I would make a post on my upgrade.
I bought my 17 used in june 17 and traded it in dec 19 so owned 2.5 years. It was a great truck all said but did have some issues that needed multiple trips to the dealer. The worst was tow/haul started getting wonky, working intermittently and getting stuck in whatever last setting was. Three weeks at dealer and found a shorted/melted harness connector.
The mods started with professionally tinted tails and 3rd brake, pedal commander, underhood paint, mufflex d18 muffler, add a tube to oem airbox and weathertech hood and window visors.
Had front and rear windows tinted 25%.
Ran great for a while so got a pulsar and S&B cai.
Pulsar and pc made for a great running truck. S&B blocked easy access to ecu for service runs so added a custom painted vararam.
Oh yeah, forgot that I removed all but top n bottom auto grill shutters for cooler running at speed on freeway.
Found a member (local) that swapped his wheels out, hit him up immediately and bought the sport wheels with black carbon stripes. Added Michelin tires and loved the look and feel of good tires!!
Day I bought it at the lot

Both are nice but I like the Granite color better. The truck I just bought the other day is granite. I had to choose between that and a white one. I've had two white trucks in the past but the granite looked better. Nice choice

Ramm5.7, Did you use a product to smoke the original head and tail lights or did you go aftermarket?

Haven't done alot to the classic lately but some little things and drive it!! Up to 7800 miles..lol
AJT shift knob finally arrived after a 2 month delay, looks great but I decided to add some accents to offset the silver.
Added Hellwig rear sway bar and adjustable end links. Have it set to middle hole and WOW, what a difference. Much more planted and secure feeling! Sorry, no pics of it....yet
Painting the Vararam cover from my 17 from black to granite metallic to match truck. Struggled to find a good match, these pics are the closest I could find. After these pics I redid it due to a couple of discrepancies so its solid metallic atm. Wasnt happy with the color match so ordered some oem PAU spraypaint and clear. Waiting on clear to show up then a total redo!
Last pic is just because. Sitting on the curb in the shade on a scorching day, photo op!! Lol

Nice truck and she’s coming along nicely.
I traded my Granite ‘15 Sport QC for a Red Pearl ‘19 CC. Kept my Sport wheels as I hated the black wheels the dealer had on the new truck.1D68ED68-D692-4823-B0CC-BBDE49342402.jpeg
