Wider tire

I have a ‘25 Ram Rebel with stock 275/70R18 and I want to go a little wider without needing spacers, wheels, level etc. I want everything to remain as is except a wider tire. Can I go with 295/70R18?

This guy is running 285s and had to trim plastic. Another guy with the same size didn't have to trim any. So 285s are close but with 295s I would plan on having to trim.

The 285s are pretty close in circumference to the OE size; you can decide to tweak the BCM for a more accurate speedo or not. The maximum circumference difference permitted in most states and provinces is 4%.

A 295/70r18 is just over an inch taller than a 275/70r18.

A 305/65r18 is not quite a half inch taller.
