nice, Wonder how long they will last? what PSI do you plan of running?

I have KO2s, run them between 50-55psi when I'm not towing. I have 24k miles on them in a year and they are getting close to the end.

Will probably run them at the recommended psi and see how they feel. My stock duratracs have around 21k milesand they are toast.....the Power Wagon is a heavy beast....not expecting much more from the BFG’s

I think you are realistic. KM3 is a badass looking tire. I am going to go a different route when i change this set. It's the second set of KO2's for me. I love the way the KO2's ride, i just want to try a different tire.

There is no "recommended psi", except what people tell you. The psi on the door sticker is only for the factory tires at factory size. Every tire is marked with "max" psi, but unless you are running fully loaded/towing all the time, you will get a very rough ride and wear the centers of the tires prematurely at max pressure. You can do a search on here, or internet-wide, and find out how to zero in on an optimal psi for your usage. Search the 'chalk' method.

50 psi is probably a good starting point to balance the ride comfort, wear, and daily driving. My $.02.

The tire pressures on the door sticker also assume a fully loaded truck. If you ride around empty all the time you’re getting a harsher ride than necessary and wearing the center out of the treads.

Do a chalk test on the new rubber.

I replaced my factory tires with the same 285 width, but at a 75 height which are 1" taller than OEM. Same 3,195 pound maximum load as the OEM, but at 80 PSI due to a higher Load Range E. Figured incorrectly that I could run the same PSI as the OEM door sticker specification due to both the width and the maximum load didn't change. All 5 rotated ST Maxx tires which were new at a 18.5/32" tread depth are worn to between 12/32" and 13/32" in the center lugs vs 15/32" on the outside lugs at 11,000 miles of use. Just reduced all to 50 PSI cold at a 16 degrees Fahrenheit temperature as m25443 suggested.

In an unloaded truck, the rears should have roughly 20% less psi than the fronts. Theres just so much more weight on the front tires than the rear.

55 front and 45 rear (cold psi) has been a good setup with my 35’s. Think the rears could still be a bit less, but I figure when I rotate them up front the outer edges will start getting worn from turning.

Ive got 37x12.5x17 on my stock power wagon wheels no lift or level. Rubs at full lock but other than that its good. Will be leveling soon and a 8mm-10mm spacer.

Doesn't your low tire pressure idiot light on the dash come on at 45 psi?

Yep. Actually I think anything less than 55. And it dosnt bother me a bit. Never really understood the big issue with that. Theres a bunch of other lights on the dash too...

However, I did notice that when I leave the Tazer RAM plugged in that the light does not come on. I can have the thresholds reprogrammed with it, but I really dont care to bother doing it because the light doesnt bother me.

Yes, the idiot light is on, but there's nothing else.

The biggest issue here is finding an ambient temperature to fill the tires cold that is within the TPMS PSI low and high tolerances, if one doesn't want the idiot light on. Most days here have a 40 to 50 degree temperature change between the low and high which impacts the TPMS by 1 PSI for every 10 degrees in Fahrenheit temperature change.

Before a trip last year I filled the tires to 5 PSI below the 60 front and 65 rear TPMS specifications due the extreme cold of a 5 degree of a high for the day. Towed to Los Angeles the next day straight and somewhere far out on Interstate 15 pass Las Vegas in 70 degree weather the TPMS came up with warning bells and tire inflation warnings. It was in heavy Sunday night traffic and was way too dangerous to pull over. Looked at my tire PSI settings and the hot tires were just 10 PSI above the tire specs. The tires have a maximum of 80 PSI cold, so no worries. I ignored it due to I would be heading back into a colder climate by towing up into Oregon the following day. The warmer temperatures is probably where my center wear occurred.
