Looking for info on Rebel wheels

Current stock set up is 17x7 265/70/17 from 2018 Tradesman

Looking to replace with 2017 Rebel wheels. Size 17x8 285/70/17.

Wondering if the wider setup will clear with the control arms. Or I’ll need to get a lift kit.

Will they fit?

Thanks!

As long as they have 5 lugs they will fit.

Here's my truck with 315 70 17 s, with the black version of rebel wheels.

Speedo will be off about 3%

It's a very popular swap although the speedometer/odometer will be off.

The 285/70/17 is close enough in diamete,r it's equivalent to the 275/60/20(the other factory tire size), if you have the dealership reprogram the truck to the correct tire size and they say they can't program the Rebel wheel size.
You can also use AlfaOBD to correct the speedometer, it's also helpful if your planning any other mods to the truck and is also be used to troubleshoot and diagnose many of the modules on the truck

Any 4th gen wheels will fit any other 4th gen model. Tires as well if they are stock size. As mentioned the Rebel tires are one inch bigger in diameter, but they will fit just fine. But your speedometer will be affected. Just as a FYI…the all 4th gen 1500’s use the same control arms.

The wheels are a direct swap, and there's no issue with clearances to suspension components. This was the very first mod I did to my truck, literally 30 minutes after I took delivery:

I subsequently ran larger tires on these rims until they were worn out, then put the factory tires back on (to avoid the spend at that time). I had to reprogram my speedo (alfaOBD) after each tire size change.

In the latter pic, I am also running 1.5" spacers, although they were not needed for clearance - I just wanted the tires to be flush with the flares.
