My two fronts are 35%, legal in my state. The place that did mine is the best in my area, lifetime warranty and he only uses Llumar film. Mine are standard dyed film, I asked about ceramic as well. He said he could use ceramic but the cost vs benefit really wasn’t worth it.

When getting the windows tinted, is there any special kind of tint that you have to use? I see Abouttobeglue recommends ceramic tint. Thinking about getting my fronts done to match the rears and want to make sure it is done right. Thanks

The tint shop in town that has done three of my vehicles has a demo box for the tint. It has a heat lamp and different tint on glass panels. even at 35% you can feel the heat difference. Makes a even bigger difference at 5%.

For those that tint your windshield do you have inspection stickers you have to put on for the state? In TX we do and was wondering how that could be done.

15% all the way around, 80% on the windshield and 5% brow. Great for the south Texas heat. Illegal but not super noticeable
