Passenger Window pops out of track

I have automatic windows in my 96. When i make them go down, Passenger window keeps getting stuck on the top of the frame. The window will stay there defying gravity, even as the window regulator tracks go to the bottom. Until a bump in the road makes it fall!

So it will eventually pop out of the top rubber stripping and land off the track. One of the bottom tracks are kinda wonky looking, but the window still fits into it. the window easily binds though causing it to go out of them. Door is missing one of the rubber strips along the area where the window disappears into the door too which is probably contributing to this problem.

It would probably have less issues if the window regulator wasn't so fast.

If the regulator is going down without the glass I suspect the glue that holds the small plastic brackets to the glass has finally come lose. If you remove the door panel you will probably find the plastic brackets still bolted in place to the regulator and the glass moving independently of the regulator.

If this is the case you have two options. You can replace the glass which will have the brackets affixed to the glass or you can attempt to glue the brackets back in place on the glass with some ThreeBond or something along the lines of that or maybe PanelBond.

Ok that makes sense. I did not know the brackets were supposed to be adhered to the glass. I am not gonna buy a new window I don't think that's worth it.
