Winter Tire and Rims?

Hi guys I bought my ram last December and I live in Ontario, Canada. I'm looking at getting new rims specifically to be used in winter and snow and ice tires. Any recommendations and what are you guys using, spec, size?


I have a 2019 1500 Classic Laramie EcoDiesel 4x4.

I just grabbed a set of 20" factory take offs and mounted Hankook studded ipikes. They have good grip and I get 60k out of them easily, which is pretty good for a winter tire. I run back and forth between Alberta and BC via rocky mountain passes all winter long where it likes to thaw during the day and freeze at night so it can get really icy. Otherwise I'd skip the studs due to restrictions on when they're allowed, but on ice studs make a big difference.
