Hello ram forum,
New member and I just want to say hello before asking my question. I currently have a 2008 ram 1500 st with the 17x7 inch steel rims. I want to put a set of snow tires on the 17's for the winter and have another set of rims and tires for the summer. I found a 2009 ram being parted out and it has 275/60/r20 tires on a 20x8 rim. My question is will these fit without lifting the body and will there be any steering problems due to rubbing or interference? I already checked bolt pattern and offset and hub bore. The tire will be 1 inch wider and about 2.25 inches taller. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

You might want to compare that tire & wheel combination to your stock setup.

You can get the offsets for both set of wheels here:

Wheel Size dot com

Then you can enter the data from both sets (offset, wheel diameter & width, tire sizes) and see how much of a change you are dealing with from stock including tire height, tire/wheel width, how much the offset differences change the position of the wheel & tire combo within the wheel well and if that setup gets closer or farther away from your suspension.

Enter your data here:
