I was just looking behind my rear seats and notices a wire with a camped connector. I didn't look on the passenger side to see if it has one. Anyone know what these are for?

could be for a heated seat option if yours doesnt have it the wiring would still be there.

Not much info to go on, here. I'm assuming you have a quad or crew cab since you said "rear seats". Do you have electric sliding rear window, rear dome lights, etc?

I have a Crew cab. Power sliding window. There is a wire on both sides. Being there for heated rear seats would make sense. I was thinking they would make good places to put a couple of power outlets or usb ports.

Computerized truck. Have you checked if there is a keyed hot in those plugs? You usually can't just hook something up to the harness if the computer is expecting something else there.

No. I don't really know a lot about electronics. I just want to know if anyone else knows or has used these connections for anything else.
