Wires for a boat trailer

Anyone know where the wires are in the back by the bumper? I'm gonna be towing a boat every once in a while and I was looking for the wires to power the brake lights on the trailer. I didn't see anything back there..I hope I have them lol..

If you don't see em tucked up under there you might not have em

Slide under the truck and theres a wire harness with a connector up near the frame and bumper mount. If you just see a con then the truck didnt leave the factory with the rest of the wiring harness for the tow package. If you dont see them I wouldnt worry to much and call a local trailer shop to get a quote on putting in a light hook up.

Actually I think I found 'em. It's kind of like a square piece with a protector over it...has plugs under the protector lol

haha, just gotta clean the boat and mount the engine...time for some summer fun, i live about half a mile away from a lake so it's very convenient

you are lucky, my connector corroded and the contacts were all but gone. I had to splice in a new one from a ferd, it was the only thing I had...
