How do you fit 20 Rolling Coal ******* in a Ram? Same way.How do you fit ten clowns in a bmw
Chainsaw
I asked some BMW techs who were dining next to me at lunch what vehicle they drove. Not a BMW among them.Richard Craniums!!!!!!!
LOVE IT!
Bit like Max Head.
Yup definitely your mistake. Maybe go back and read what forum page this is posted in. If you don't like the thread, and you aren't going to contribute any useful information ,don't read it,. Think i've said this before, there's always gotta be that 1 guy,and tag it looks like it's you todayGee I'm sorry I thought I was on a "RAM TRUCK FORUM" MY MISTAKE.
Another one i like is "Big Moron Walking",lolBMW...
Big
Money
Wasted
How long till they start charging a monthly fee to have a steering wheel, lolHeadlines are typically misleading. Read more accurate articles and the BMW news release.
Only those cars sold in some European countries the WERE NOT sold new with the mentioned accessories activated will be subject to the monthly fees.
In other words, if you bought a new BMW in a basic trim level without, say, heated seats and then later decided that you want to add the heated seats, then BMW will activate them for a monthly fee or a one time charge. (Most US sold cars come standard with these option and won't be effected.)
Not really any different than buying a Ram, Ford, GM truck without the Nav activated then later deciding you want the dealer to activate it. It'll cost you money to have the dealer do it. The BMW monthly fee plan just allows owners the option of not paying for it all at once. That's not a bad idea for somebody with a lease that doesn't want to eat the cost of the upgrade when they turn it in.
I think I could deal with some version of that if they only offered the car at the base price, leaving you the option to select the options you want, allowing lots of customization. Problem is - people like to have the Limited/Premier/whatever-top-of-the-line badge the manufacturer offers.Subscription makes sense from a production and resale point of view:
1) Sales contract with dealer includes baseline trim and color (hardware and aesthetics)
2) All features requiring software/firmware are pre-installed prior to delivery to dealer. EPA requirements by production year activated.
3) First time buyer selects what to activate and pays subscription fees
4) Follow on buyers can add to subscription or unsubscribe
Entices customers of used vehicles by avoiding sticker shock of upgrade with all the goodies, steers customer into "easy monthly payments"
Simplifies the assembly line by cutting back on customization
This. ^^^This must be SaaS only its Seats as a Service instead of Software as a Service.
Aside from not wanting to be associated with the overwhelming majority people that drive white BMWs are ***** bags, it's a matter of principal for me. I don't like subscription based anything and will not participate in it if I have literally any choice to use something else.Maybe I'm the only one here, but I would definitely consider a BMW as my next daily driver.
CNC Machining equipment is the same way. HAAS for example just sends you unlock codes for anything you buy after you bought the machine. Hard pass for me, too.you buy the vehicle with the capability already built in but have to pay extra to unlock it
