Would you buy a ram 1500 with 146k on it

Price dropped to 2500. I can get it for less I think. But I'm not looking to do a motor swap. Not yet at least. The only thing I'd have to fix is the rust above the fenders and that's it

I agree....$2,500 is dirt cheap for a 3rd Gen 4x4. I'd test drive it and see how the tranny does. At 150k you might be looking at a new tranny soon if no work has been done and it's been driven hard.

I don't mean this in the wrong way, but if you are looking in the $2,500 price range....my guess is that you probably don't want to be in the position of having to dump extra money into repairs.

Id say jump on it you cant beat that price...the 4.7 will still last along time just dont let it overheat or you'll crack your heads and use good quality synthetic you should be ok..is it a 5 speed 545rfe or a 45re?

Barring any major problems or issues, I'd go for it at that price. The 4.7 is a good motor if you treat it right.

Buy it,clean it up and resale if nothing else at that price 2nd generation trucks in my area sell for between 4,000 and 5,000 If decently clean with that mileage.
