So I was cleaning my Sport today, since it was nice, because I obviously was behind someone leaking crap on the road recently (it looked like oil or grease splattered on the front of my truck)…..didn’t know what it was so I wanted it off asap. Anyway, I noticed the passenger side of the bottom leading edge of my bed was getting peppered and sanding blasting my paint away. I had some clear armor tape laying around from when I had to fix another one of Chrysler’s screw ups (how the Mopar molded mud flaps rub the paint off over time). I cut it and used a heat gun to make sure it stuck to the curve. I think it will protect it going forward. Obviously my bed isn’t straight (big surprise) because the driver’s side isn’t getting touched. I added the armor tape to the driver’s side anyways. I’m OCD and I couldn’t have it on one side and not the other! Lol. It might be worth it for some of you guys to check yours before rust starts :favorites13:

I'm not saying your bed isn't straight. Just most junk on roads goes in the center of both lanes or passenger side of your lane. So it could be straight, or you need to center yourself in your lane better[emoji5].
