Have any of you fellas had any experience with the Eastwood internal frame coating?
I’ve got a 2015 ram 1500 four-wheel-drive. I’ve got the entire front end removed on both sides. Waiting on some more parts. The rust isn’t bad compared to some of the videos I’ve seen online.
I was out there today with a needle scaler, a drill with various wire brushes, an air nozzle attachment, and brake cleaner to get rid of all the crime and road gunk. I did everything 2 feet forward and 2 feet behind where all the front end parts will go.
Wore glasses and a respirator. The entire passenger side is cleaned up. I sprayed it with the rust former. Then I will top coat everything last.
Doing the driver side tomorrow.
I saw a video where someone used the Eastwood internal frame coating (with the long tube). It seems like a good idea to get inside the frame. Have you guys had any experience with this product?
Thanks!
