Let's say you had $10k what would you do?

I want JJ lights, front runners in the rim category are XD Hoss 20s with 35s, and then body work/custom paint.

It depends on what direction you are modifying for. any plans of a show circuit?
custom interior, speaker pods, seats recovered, etc.

Transmission is great. Went with some towing upgrades to it, and everything only cost me about $1200 installed.

I want to do a few shows with it once the body is done.
diesel swap is a lot of work, especially when I could just go buy one for a little bit more. My dad is looking at buying one sometime this year, so if I need it I will just use his.

My truck I want nice to be able to look good at car shows, cruises, and just overall. I use it as a truck, and it pulls my camper too.

New paint, beefed up trans, set of 4.56's front and rear, headers and full exhaust, rebuild the 5.9 to freshen it up a little

I'd do a 4BT swap personally. It's the perfect 1/2 ton motor.

I agree this is a great idea if the body on my tuck was in beter condition i would concider doing this to my truck

if you stay with gas ditch the kegger and swap to a air gap

Motor Build for some more Power. A good paint Job for a Truck is 5-8 K alone (up here anyways). Sounds like your keeping your truck for awhile,,,,,,nothing wrong with that.

Oh yeah keeping the truck. Its paid off, and salvage title. I can get the body work done reasonably, my dad does some on the side or we have a buddy that can help too.

Now since I have the off road package my springs are heavier, think this would help in a 6bt swap? Or is the 4bt good for regular driving and towing?

a 4bt will make 200 hp and 400 ft lbs with a little work id say it would be a big improvment over a 5.9 gasser

Height is good in case I have to drive it to work, need to fit in the parking garage.

Dealers won't touch my truck with being a salvage title.
