Well bass is all relative. Some think their system has no bass without 4 18s some think it had far too much if they have 6 1/5 midbass and a tweeter....And no amp. I am also on a budget but used the Rockford 6x9 three ways their middle of the road level speaker and a set of Hertz tweeters. Just using the deck it sounds great and has good bass for door speakers.
